In a reflection of the TVgrace of life and divine benevolence, Dr Yunus Akintunde the Distinguished Senator representing Oyo Central Senatorial District at the National Assembly rejoiced with Nigerians in the celebration of the new year 2025.
In a message of special greetings released by Kunle Olatunji, the Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to Senator Akintunde, he highlighted on the importance of thanksgiving to the Almighty God for the grace of life while he enjoined the citizens to approach the year 2025 with optimism for uncommon achievements and sustained growth and development as a Nation.
“I remember quite well my admonitions to Nigerians during 2024 assuring about the possibility of immense opportunities within the seemingly tough global economic realities and based on my assessment of the content of the 2024 budget loaded with several positive and impactful programs only curious and discerning minds could appreciate”.
“For many who were able to appreciate the positive side of issues, which is my own style of managing situations,
whereas no doubt we are still grasping with various challenges as a Nation, however I feel elated as we are currently witnessing the emerging trend of proper repositioning of our economy which henceforth will guarantee quality living standards for us collectively as citizens”.
“No doubt, the realities of our pains and days of trauma are gradually becoming past experiences, things can and will surely get better in days,, months and years ahead of us as we shall witness a more prosperous year 2025 with abundance and quality living”.
“I am most confident that the steadfast commitment of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu led administration at all levels and arms of government will consolidate on the gains of the past year especially on the various on going economic reforms with clear indications of the 2025 budget appropriations reflecting greater potentials for building a very strong economy” .
“In this new year 2025 again, I am quite optimistic of a steady growth and sustained development in the key sectors of Agriculture, Education, Energy and Power, Security, Housing, Environment and Infrastructure among other sectors. The various reforms are designed to consolidate the administration’s strategic planning and repositioning of the economy as globally ideal and realistic, which is a total departure from the past track towards a total economic disaster”
