Senator Yunus Akintunde has described the death of Chief Yekini Adeojo as a huge loss to the political landscape of Oyo State and the Nation Nigeria.
In a condolence message released to the press through Kunle Olatunji the Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to Senator Yunus Akintunde, he expressed his heartfelt condolences to the entire family, friends and political associates of the Ibadan born politician who was highly respected within the polity whose passage has left a vacuum too difficult to fill.

“The departure of Chief Yekini Adeojo has left a great vacuum within the political landscape so difficult to fill, as he can be described as one of the remaining few of such great men of his generation”.
“I have the rare privilege to have traversed the political landscape of Oyo State and by extension the National political system with the great leader, Chief Yekini Adeojo since his early days of participation in politics”.
“No doubt his type of person and style of politics fused together is rare, quite commendable and worthy of emulation, he was such a highly respected and benevolent leader within the political landscape and his other various commitments in business, faith and community traditional leadership systems”.
“Like a colossus, Chief Adeojo never deviated from his commitment and loyalty to his conservative political leaning and has provided quality dependable leadership virtues to several people who had the privilege to have related with him till he breathed his last”.
“Baba Adeojo was ever ready to support any interest that will benefit humanity and Oyo State in particular. His influence cuts across party affiliations which endeared him to several people within and outside politics”.
“We will sorely miss his invaluable contributions to the political system, religious and traditional institutions which he cherished with passion throughout his sojourn here on earth”.
