Oyo Muslim Community Mourns the Passing of Sheikh Muhydeen Bello

The Muslim Community of Oyo State, Oke-Ogun Zone in a press statement issued on Saturday expressed heartfelt condolences over the passing of renowned Islamic Scholar and Preacher, Sheikh Muhydeen Ajani Bello.

According to the statement, signed by Barr. Tajudeen Adeniji, the Vice Chairman of the Zone, “Our beloved Sheikh Muhydeen Ajani Bello (Oniwasi Agbaye) was a renowned Islamic preacher, who dedicated over 70 years of his life to spreading the teachings of Islam and correcting social ills for the betterment of the society.

“His selflessness, wisdom and unwavering commitment to the Muslim community will be deeply missed,” the statement added.

In his words: “We condole the family of Sheikh Muhydeen Ajani Bello and pray that Allah grants him Al-Jannah Firdaos. Our thoughts are with his family and the entire Muslim community during this difficult time.”

The Muslim Community fervently pray for repose of his soul, seeking Allah’s forgiveness for his sins, comfort and strengthen his family, and promote peace and unity among Muslim Ummah.
