Oyo Deputy Gov, Lawal Mourns With Okere of Saki Over Loss of Wife

The Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Barr. Abdul-Raheem Adebayo Lawal, has extended his heartfelt condolences to Oba Khalid Olabisi, the Okere of Sakiland, following the passing of one of his wives, Olori Waliyat Abimbola, describing the loss as painful.

In his condolence message on Tuesday, the Deputy Governor, who noted that he was shocked to learn of Olori Waliyat’s passing, prayed Allah to give the monarch and his family the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.

“Allah is the giveth and the taketh, the Deputy Governor said, describing Olori Waliyat as a kindhearted person who is loved by everyone for her dedication to humanitarian services.

“We pray that her soul rests in perfect peace, and may the family find solace in the knowledge that she will always be remembered for good.”
