Oyo Dep Governor Celebrates JAMB Registrar, Prof Ishaq Oloyede on 70th Birthday

The Deputy Governor of Oyo State Barrister Bayo Lawal has extended heartfelt congratulations to the Registrar/Chief Executive Officer of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, as he marks his 70th birthday.

In a statement released on Thursday in Ibadan, the Deputy Governor praised Prof. Oloyede’s exceptional contributions to the Nigerian educational sector, particularly in his capacity as the head of JAMB, where he has implemented far-reaching reforms.

Describing Prof. Oloyede as a visionary leader, the Deputy Governor acknowledged his tireless efforts in enhancing the credibility and transparency of the admissions process, as well as his dedication to ensuring access to quality education for Nigerian students. He further commended the academic’s integrity, innovation, and passion for uplifting Nigeria’s educational standards.

“Prof. Oloyede’s legacy will undoubtedly continue to inspire generations of Nigerians, as his work has transformed JAMB and provided countless young people with opportunities to pursue their dreams through higher education,” the Deputy Governor noted.

The Deputy Governor concluded by wishing Prof. Oloyede many more years of good health, wisdom, and continued service to the nation. He also prayed that the Almighty grant him the strength to continue his impactful work for the development of the nation’s education sector.

Prof. Oloyede, who has held numerous prominent positions in academia, is celebrated not only for his leadership at JAMB but also for his significant contributions as a scholar and administrator over the years.
