Comrade Solomon Olugbemiga Ayoade, the Chief Press Secretary to Olubadan of Ibadanland was recently installed the Asiwaju of Eleruko town by Baale Eleruko, Olawatosin Segelu Akintola during the 8th Igbo – Elerin Day.
Speaking during the installation of the new Asiwaju, Baale Olawatosin Segelu Akintola charged the new Asiwaju to lead and mobilize all sons and daughters of Eleruko in Nigeria and diaspora to ensure the unity, progress and rapid development of Eleruko at urban and rural cities.

Baale Olawatosin Segelu further admonished the new Asiwaju in conjunction with elders, executive members and the entire descendants to ensure regular attendance at meetings, contributing our quotas and ensure peaceful dispute resolutions where and when the need arises.
Finally, baale Olawatosin declared that his office is widely open for visits, counselling and needed information for he is a listening leader and accredited representative of Olubadan of Ibadanland
In his acceptance speech, Asiwaju Olugbemiga Ayoade assured Baale through elders Council, that all efforts will be put in place to achieve aims and objectives of Eleruko town.
Chief Ayoade thereafter called on Eleruko descendants to come to macidonia to rebuild it’s fallen fences for the betterment of the community.
Igbo – Elerin Day is an annual event where Baales, installed traditional title holders and other invited guests from towns and villages in Igbo – Elerin and it’s environs gather and celebrate indigenes and invited guests.
