Nigeria at 64: Wewe LCDA Chair Urges Nigerians to Support Govt for Rapid Economic Recovery

Nigerians have been charged to always support and cooperate with government at all levels as Nigeria celebrate her 64th Independence Day.

The Political Head of Wewe Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Oyedokun Tiamiyu gave this charge on Tuesday in a congratulatory message to his people on this year’s Independence Day celebrations.

According to Hon. Tiamiyu in a statement he personally signed and made available to newsmen on Tuesday in Saki, assured his people that his administration is sincerely committed towards improving their standard of living for the betterment of the society.

He, however, charged Clerics across the country not to relent in their prayers for political functionaries at all levels of governance to ensure rapid economic recovery.

He thereafter commended the resilience and unwavering commitment of Nigerians towards economic recovery of the nation, charging them to reflect on the sacrifices made by our founding fathers who struggled day and night for the independence of Nigeria over six decades ago.

The Council boss also reiterated his determination and commitment to the well-being of the residents of Wewe LCDA through execution of people oriented developmental projects.
