MURIC Urges Muslims to Support Oke-Alaro Medical Center for Quality Healthcare

Muslims across the country have been charged to support the completion of the ultra modern Oke-Alaro Muslim Community Medical Center towards achieving it’s goal of providing qualitative and affordable healthcare delivery for Muslims without compromising the virtue and modesty of Muslim women as well as non-muslim.

Professor Ishaq Akintola, the Executive Director of Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) in a press statement issued on Friday, urged the invited guests for tomorrow’s N500 million appeal fund to donate generously to ensure early completion of the laudable project for the betterment of the populace.

According to him, “you have heard several stories about discrimination against Muslim women in hospitals around South Western Nigeria. They are profiled, stereotyped and labelled with several unprintable names. Some Muslim women are asked to remove their hijab or niqab before attending to them or their children!

“Oke-Alaro Muslim Community has a solution to the endless persecution. A Muslim medical center is the answer. They are almost there as the structures of the ultramodern medical center are there already. But they need your support to make their dream a reality”, he added.

In his words: “this Muslim Community believes Muslims can rescue Muslims. They believe that nobody will do it for Muslims except Muslims. The Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) shares their philosophy. This is why we have joined them in reaching out to Muslims throughout the country to support this laudable project”

Prof. Akintola further explained that, Oke-Alaro Muslim Community needs your support. “Don’t let them down by donating generously to the official account of the community: Account Name: Oke-Alaro Muslim Community, Jaiz Bank with Account number: 0017035196”, he stated.

“Although the official launching will take place at the site tomorrow, Saturday, 21st September, 2024, support from all over Nigeria should continue until the project is fully completed” he concluded.
