MAOLUD NABBIY: AARE MUSULUMI CHARGES ISLAMIC CLERICS TO PRAY FOR NIGERIA’S ECONOMIC TRANSFORMATION.

Islamic Clerics across the country have been charged to continually pray for rapid transformation of the nation’s economy.

The Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland, Edo and Delta States, His Eminence Alhaji Dawud Makanjuola Akinola (DE-DAMAK) gave this charge in Ibadan on Tuesday in his congratulatory message to Muslim Ummah on the celebration of Maolud Nabbiy, anniversary of the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammed (PBUH)

He specifically urged them to always pray for all leaders in administrative capacities especially President Bola Tinubu, state governors, ministers, commissioners, legislators at all levels, among others for Almighty Allah’s guidance towards excellent performance in their official duties to ensure economic transformation that will make life more meaningful and convenient for the entire citizens.

Ààrẹ however enjoined muslim brothers and sisters to inculcate the habit of reaching out to their neighbors, family and others with love as displayed by Prophet Muhammed during his lifetime.

“While celebrating the birth of Prophet Muhammed, it is imperative for us as Muslims to emulate the teachings and actions of the holy Prophet Muhammed in our daily lives for the betterment of the society” he stated.

He also charged good spirited Nigerians to always be their brother’s keeper whenever there is need for such especially during this trying period in our nation, Nigeria.

His Eminence, Alhaji Dawud Akinola thereafter prayed that as we celebrate this year’s Maolud Nabbiy, may the Almighty Allah, the Controller of incomparable Majesty grant our request for rapid socio-economic transformation.
