Ibadan Mogajis Pay Obeisance To 43rd Olubadan

In fulfillment of Ibadan tradition, the Executive Committee of the Mogajis and others representing the five Local Governments in Ibadan City, led by Asimiyu Ariori, the Aare Egbe Mogaji on Thursday paid obeisance to HRM, Oba Akinloye Owolabi Olakulehin at his Alalubosa residence upon his nomination as Olubadan-Designate.

Speaking on behalf of the Mogajis, the Aare Egbe Mogaji, Asimiyu Ariori pledged their support to the monarch praying for sound health and long life with landmark achievements during his reign.

He, however, sought the monarch’s permission for the Mogajis to visit the Otun Balogun, Oba Tajudeen Ajibola in line with Ibadan tradition, noting that same was done to Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland, Senator Rashid Adewolu Ladoja, after their visit to the 42nd Olubadan -HIM Oba Mahood Olalekan Ishola Balogun upon nomination.

Responding himself, the Olubadan granted their request to visit Otun Balogun and also expressed his deep gratitude for the visit praying that each of them will fulfil their desires on the path to the Olubadan throne.

Chief Osuolale Owolabi, the younger brother to Oba Olakulehin on behalf of the monarch and the Olakulehin family thanked the Mogajis for their support to the recently nominated Olubadan of Ibadanland.
