Ex – LG Chairman, Arowosaye Hosts End-of-Year Party in Oyo

Hon. Saheed Adeyemi Arowosaye, the immediate past Chairman of Oyo East Local Government Area, recently hosted an end-of-year party that brought together a diverse group of stakeholders, including friends, family, political associates, and community members from across the Oyo empire.

The event, held at Tees and Resorts Hotel in Oyo, was attended by prominent figures such as former Commissioner, Sen. Hosea Agboola (Hallelujah), Oyomesi-in Council, and Oyo East traditional Chiefs.

According to Hon. Waheed Alabi, the gathering was a testament to Arowosaye’s commitment to thanking God for His blessings and upholding him and his associates through turbulent times. The event also aimed to chart a way forward for the socio-economic prosperity of the Oyo empire.

The event also had in attendance retired Tutor-General, Dr. Olatunde Suulola; former Chairman of Lagelu Local Government, Hon. Kazeem Gbadamosi; former Chairman, Afijio Local Government, Hon. Sunday Akindele Ojo (SAO); former Chairman, Atiba Local Government, Hon. Mojisola Kafilat Olakojo and former Speaker of Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Asimiyu Niran Alarape.

Others include Hon. Isiaka Arole, Hon. Olalekan Akeem Jimoh, Hon. Femi Emmanuel Aikomo (Executive Chairman, Afijio LG), Hon. Oguntona Olunloyo, Leader Luqman Adeyanju, Market Men and Women, PDP Stakeholders and members across Oyo federal constituency.

In his short remarks, the convener, Hon. Saheed Adeyemi Arowosaye, expressed his excitement and appreciation to God Almighty for allowing him and his friends to witness the productive get-together party.

The former Council boss specifically stated that the gathering isn’t for political affairs, stressing that it is meant for Oyo’s progress, as well as AROSAD and friends’ thanksgiving while emphasizing the importance of recognizing and rewarding contributions of deceased leaders and stakeholders in the Oyo Federal Constituency.

According to him, “I’m thanking God for my healthy, prosperous life, unlimited blessings, and breakthrough as former Council Chairman. Although I’ve been organizing such a party in a low-key manner, today’s enlargement is organized specially to further appreciate God, carving special prayer for our deceased leader, stakeholders in Oyo empire viz; Alhaji Yekeen Ademola Santos, Prince Mukaila Oladokun (Oyo State PDP Treasurer), Imam Gafar (Oyo East Ward 06 Chairman), Mr. Yusuff (Oyo East local Excos), Prince Fatai Adebayo Adeyemi (D-Gov), Pa Siju Salam, Pa Olayiwola Bello (Chairman,Oyo East Elder’s Forum), Pa Samuel Elegbede, Pa Ganiyu Ayoola (Alade Kanga), Hon. Eesuola Babatunde Hammed (former lawmaker, representing Atiba State Constituency).

He, however, donated a huge sum of money to all the deceased leader’s widows and urged them to make judicious use of the money as a recognition of the selfless attitude of their husband’s sacrifice in promoting the growth and development of Oyo empire.

AROSAD, however, lauds the sacrifice made by the deceased, which motivates him to donate a huge sum to their respective families, stressing their importance and contribution to the Community. He also distributed food Palliatives which runs to millions of naira across the town to reduced hunger and hardship.

Arowosaye, who doubles as the CEO, AROSAD Properties and Consultancy Services Nigeria Limited and Chairman, Arowosaye Foundation also promised a life pension salary for the late Party Leaders’ Widows.

Khalifah Mojeed Alawiye Alawaye’s lecture reflected on the past, embracing the future in the renewal of Allah’s blessings, which are by the teaching of the Qur’an.

The Cleric, however, urged Arowosaye and friends not to relent on their philanthropist gesture in bringing smiles to the faces of the people, which is in line with Allah’s guiding principles in putting smiles to the faces of the widows.

Responding on behalf of the beneficiaries, Mrs. Motunrayo Ademola Santos commended AROSAD for recognizing the impacts of their husbands in promoting peace and unity and charting the way for the progress of the Oyo empire.

“We’ve never seen any politicians displaying this kind of generosity without discrimination, given us assurance with the assertion that we should not be depressed by the death of our husband, but rather be optimistic and pray to God to repose their soul”.

“We’ll forever be grateful to Prince Saheed Adeyemi Arowosaye, the Okanlomo of Oyo land. We’re surprised, and God Almighty shall replenish in multiple for him and grant him more fruitful years,” She prayed.

Arowosaye’s kind gesture was a testament to his commitment to supporting the families of those who have served the community.

The cash gifts were received with gratitude and appreciation by the widows, who praised Arowosaye for his kindness and generosity.
