Engr. Akeem Olatunji, Executive Chairman of Oluyole Local Government, has congratulated Dr. Wasiu Olatubosun, Oyo State Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, and Mrs. Abosede Sodiq, Senior Special Assistant on Broadcast Media to Governor Seyi Makinde, on their coinciding birthday anniversaries on January 11. This milestone occasion was marked by widespread praise and felicitations for the duo’s outstanding contributions to Oyo State’s development under Governor Makinde’s administration.
A statement personally signed by Engr. Olatunji on Saturday, described the celebrants as exemplary public servants who have contributed immensely to the development of Oyo State under Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration.
“Dr. Wasiu Olatubosun has redefined the cultural and tourism landscape of our state by ensuring the preservation of our rich heritage while positioning Oyo State as a top tourist destination in Nigeria.
“Similarly, Mrs. Sodiq has played a very important role in not just managing but also enhancing the image of the administration through effective media strategies, and ensuring transparency in information dissemination, and also communication with the public,” Olatunji said.
Olatunji commended the duo for their selflessness and dedication as well as their commitment to excellence while emphasizing that their contributions have strengthened the administration’s vision for a more prosperous and culturally vibrant Oyo State.
“On behalf of the people of Oluyole Local Government, I celebrate these outstanding individuals. Their birthdays are a reminder of the invaluable impact they continue to make in their respective roles,” Olatunji added.
The council boss however, prayed for their continued success, good health, and more years of service to the state and its citizens.
