Abuja Agog as Dignitaries join Senator Akintunde to Celebrate Daughter’s Wedding

The city of Abuja Nigeria hosted the wedding ceremony between Basitot a legal practitioner and young entrepreneur daughter of Senator Yunus Akintunde to Nurudeen a Military officer in the Nigerian Air Force.

At a well attended and splendidly organized Nikah ceremony which held at ACE Event Arcade Abuja on Friday where the couple exchanged vows in Islamic rites, and at the elaborate reception on Saturday, the Distinguished Senator Akintunde who was visibly joyous alongside his wife Alhaja Akintunde with family members, his distinguished Senator colleagues , friends and associates other dignitaries had a great time in celebration during the various aspects of the ceremony.

Earlier on Thursday at the ACE Event Arcade, Wife of the Senate President Mrs Akpabio alongside with wives of other distinguished Senators and those of Members, House of Representatives at the National Assembly female family members and friends had organized a Mothers celeberation with Mrs Akintunde to welcoming the young bride Basitot into womanhood in a splendid and elaborate way.

Saturday event which also held in Abuja hosted dignitaries led by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu who was represented by the Vice President, Kashim Shetima, including notable politicians and political office holders, State Governors, Cabinet Members, Members of the National Assembly, leading traditional rulers across the country, the top brass of the Military echelon and the Nigeria Police, other para military outfits, captains of industries, professionals and technocrats, members of diplomatic corps, friends and associates of both families who later gathered for an elaborate reception with exciting moments throughout the various events.

Goodwill messages were delivered by several dignitaries who attended the ceremony wishing the couple a fruitful and blissful marital life while celebrating God’s immense benevolence with the parents of the Bride and the Groom.

Senator Akintunde radiating with smiles and in very joyous mood alongside his wife Alhaja Akintunde on behalf of both families expressed their profound appreciation to Almighty Allah for the privilege of giving out their beloved daughter in marriage, while also thanking President Bola Ahmed Tinubu who was represented by Vice President Kashim Shetima, His Imperial Majesty, Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi Ojaja II, the Royal Father of the day who led the several traditional rulers, other eminent personalities, dignitaries too numerous to mention for the love, time and memorable gifts showered on the couple especially finding time out if their tight schedule to attend the various events during the wedding ceremonies which started since Thursday.
