Dotun Sanusi finances a film centered around Governor Makinde’s life and his ancestral residence.

Dotun Sanusi, a prominent Ibadan-based businessman, has financed an acclaimed Yoruba movie titled ‘Ifin Omojomolo,’ featuring Nollywood stars. This film, produced by Omolara Adebayo and starring Dele Odule, Dupe Jayesinmi, Fatai Oodua (Lalude), and others, is set to be released on YouTube soon.

The movie tells the compelling story of Governor Seyi Makinde’s life and highlights his exceptional character, including his philanthropic spirit since his teenage years. It also explores his deep connection to his ancestral home in Ibadan, specifically the Aigbofa Compound.

Omolara Adebayo, the film’s producer who also plays the role of the Governor’s mother, expressed gratitude to Engr Dotun Sanusi for his unwavering support in bringing this project to life. She emphasized that the movie aims to be both educational and inspiring for the younger generation.

The title ‘Ifin,’ which refers to the Obatala Kolanut, was chosen because kolanut holds significant cultural and spiritual value in Nigerian society. It symbolizes unity, trust, and togetherness, qualities that are embodied in Governor Seyi Makinde’s character.

This film project serves as a tribute to Governor Makinde’s remarkable journey and his contributions to his community and the political landscape of Oyo State.
