Timothy Olufemi, Executive Assistant to the Governor on Disability Matters, extended warmest wishes to Governor Seyi Makinde on his birthday, celebrating not only his life but also his tireless efforts to promote inclusivity and empowerment for people with disabilities in Oyo State.
According to him, this commitment is evident in the governor’s historic appointment of 33 persons with disabilities as Special Assistants in all 33 local governments across the state.
In his words: “Governor Makinde’s administration has demonstrated dedication to creating a more inclusive society, implementing various initiatives that have positively impacted the lives of people with disabilities”, he stated.
“These efforts have made their lives an envy for those without disabilities in the state, with people now seeking to associate themselves with the disability community, recognizing the value, talents, and contributions they bring to society”, he added.
Timothy Olufemi further states that, “as we mark this special day, we express our deepest gratitude to Governor Makinde for his unwavering dedication to the welfare and inclusion of people with disabilities. Your selfless service and leadership have made a lasting difference in our community”
