The passing of Chief Ayanyinka Ayankojo, a renowned son of Oyo town and former Chairman of Oyo State Local Government Service Commission has been described as a tremendous loss that will be deeply felt.
Comrade Bayo Titilola-Sodo, Special Adviser on Labour Matters to Governor Seyi Makinde stated this in a tribute to late Chief Ayankojo which he made available to newsmen in Ibadan on Thursday.
“As a tenacious and dependable leader, he left an indelible mark on his community and Oyo State as a whole”, he stated.
In his words: “His impeccable character and unwavering commitment to the development of Oyo State made him a respected figure. The people of Oyo town and Oyo State at large will miss his leadership and guidance”.
He further emphasized that Chief Ayankojo’s legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched and the contributions he made to the development of Oyo State.
“I therefore extend my heartfelt condolences to the immediate and extended Ayankojo family, the people of Oyo town, and Oyo State as a whole. May Almighty Allah accept his return and grant him Aljanah Firdaos”, he prayed.
