Ibadan Cultural Festival: Ajewole Inaugurates 2025 Planning Committee, Alh. Alli as Chairman, Dr. Mrs Alaga, V/Chairman ……Urges Committee to Deliver Record-Breaking Festival

The President-General of the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII), Chief Barr Sulaimon Ajeniyi Ajewole has charged members of the newly inaugurated 2025 Ibadan Cultural Festival Planning Committee to build on the foundation laid by their predecessors in achieving a more impressive 2025 festival

Chief Ajeniyi Ajewole gave this charge in Ibadan on Tuesday during the official inauguration of 2025 Ibadan Cultural Festival Planning Committee held at Ibadan House, Oke Aremo, Ibadan.

The CCII President General appreciated past festival committee members and expressed his confidence in the new team to delivering a world class cultural festival

“I have no doubt in my mind that with the quality of the leadership of the 2025 Ibadan Cultural Festival Planning Committee and these outstanding members, we are set to witness a record breaking festival” Chief Ajeniyi Ajewole submitted

The President General applauded the 2024 Ibadan Cultural Festival Planning Committee for doing Ibadan proud with the beautiful and spectacular outing the city had this year.

In his brief remarks, the Chairman of the 2025 Cultural Festival Planning Committee, Alh. Chief Abiola Alli, a retired Banker, Finance expert and Past President of Omo Ajorosun Club promised to sustain the wonderful tempo set by those before him and strive towards an unprecedented package in 2025.

Alh Abiola Alli who had served as Vice Chairman and Chairman of Ibadan Cultural Festivals in the past promised to bring his wealth of experience into bear in the organization and execution of 2025 Ibadan Cultural Festival

The committee is to oversee the planning and execution of next year’s Ibadan cultural celebrations.

Alhaja Dr. Ayobami Monsurat Alaga is the Vice Chairman, Engr. Musa Akere, the secretary, both served in these same capacities in the 2024 Festival Planning Committee and Mr. Saheed Oyebamiji serves as the Assistant Secretary

Chief Abiola Alli, while addressing members of the committee, emphasized the need for dedication and commitment to ensure success of the annual event.

He, however, urged committee members to focus on their specific roles and cautioned against overburdening themselves by serving on multiple subcommittees.

He also stressed the importance of excellence in a single area, noting that the committee would be working with nineteen different subcommittees to bring the festival’s vision to life.

Letters of engagement were distributed to all committee members at the event, marking the official commencement of their duties.
