JDS Gives Cash Rewards To Team Oyo Medalists at National Youth Games

A renowned businessman and philanthropist, Engineer Jubril Dotun Sanusi who is aspiring to be the next Governor of Oyo State, has boosted Team Oyo’s morale at the 8th National Youth Games with a generous cash reward scheme.

According to BCOS’ reporter Tobi Ajewole in Asaba, Engr Sanusi’s incentive package offers ₦5,000 for each gold medal, ₦3,000 for silver, and ₦2,000 for bronze medals, providing a significant motivation for the team.

The announcement of Engr Sanusi’s cash rewards sent waves of excitement through Team Oyo’s camp, with officials, coaches, and players beaming with joy and gratitude.

As the Games near to conclusion, with the closing ceremony scheduled for Thursday, September 19th, Team Oyo is currently sitting strong with an impressive medal haul of 25 medals comprising 10 gold, 6 silver, and 9 bronze medals.

The Oyo gubernatorial aspirant’s timely reward is expected to propel the team to even greater heights in the remaining events.
