Maolid Nabiyy: Wewe LCDA Political Head, Oyedokun Tiamiyu Urges Muslims to Emulate Prophet Mohammed’s Teachings

The Vice Chairman of Saki West Local Government and Political Head of Wewe LCDA, Hon. Oyedokun Tiamiyu has congratulated Muslim faithful as they celebrate this year’s Maolid Nabiyy, the birthday of the holy Prophet Mohammed (PBUH).

Hon. Tiamiyu in a press statement he personally signed on Tuesday charged Muslim brothers and sisters to emulate the teachings and values of Prophet Mohammed which are about the fear of God, peace and compassion.

According to him, the annual Maolid Nabiyy celebration is an opportunity to reflect on the wonderful lifestyle of Prophet Mohammed, particularly the virtues of selfless service to humanity, peaceful coexistence as well as readiness to always be our brothers’ keeper for the betterment of the society.

Hon. Tiamiyu, who described Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) as a symbol of humility and selfless service to humanity, urged Nigerians to always emulate the laudable lifestyle and virtues of the Prophet of God in their daily activities in order to move the nation forward.

The Council boss fervently prayed for quick transformation of the nation’s economy and also enjoined Muslim Clerics to continue their prayers for the administration of Governor Seyi Makinde to enable him execute more people oriented developmental projects across the state.

Hon. Tiamiyu thereafter wished the Muslim Ummah in Wewe LCDA and Oyo State at large a happy and successful celebration.
