Kidnapped Makinde’s Loyalist, Benedict Akika Regains Freedom

A prominent chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party in Oyo State and one of the close Ally of Gov. Seyi Makinde, Chief Benedict Akika has been released by his abductors.

Recall that Chief Akika, a great Philanthropist and founder of Omituntun Benedict Foundation, was abducted last week in his Ibadan residence by unknown gunmen.

As of press time, it has not been confirmed if any ransom as demanded by his abductors was paid for his release.
